Throughout her career in NBISD, Mrs. DeLuna has earned many accolades. She is a graduate of the NBISD Aspiring Principal Leadership Academy and has been recognized as NBISD Assistant Principal of the Year at the district’s annual Excellence Awards. She also participated in the N2 Assistant Principal Leadership Academy and was named Teacher of the Year in both 2014 and 2018. Additionally, she was selected as a regional finalist for the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards.
