– Arrive at Oakwood Church at 10:30 for transportation to NBHS (No parking is available at NBHS)

Event Information

Parking for required practice

For practice on May 20th, make sure to arrive at Oakwood Church by 10:30am. Transportation will run shuttles from Oakwood Church to NBHS. The shuttles will drop everyone at the Lower Commons at the back of the campus. There will be no parking available for students for practice.

Parking for Graduation ceremony

The only entry point for commencement on the evening of May 20 will be the Lower Commons.
 
Parking will be available in the back lot as well as the front lot. Those who park in front will have to walk around back to the Lower Commons. The entire front entrance to NBHS is closed.

Venue Restrictions

  • NO Food or Beverages
  • NO Tobacco products
  • NO Vapes or Nicotine
  • NO Umbrellas
  • NO Balloons
  • NO Backpacks or Sports Bags

Guests may bring in one (1) clear plastic water bottle.

Approved Regalia

Caps cannot be decorated, and staff will be present at the NBHS Main Gym doors checking regalia.

FAQ

Yes, Flash Photography will be taking pictures during graduation. Graduates will complete an information card at graduation practice and will need to have the following information at that time: Mailing address, phone number and two email addresses (not your school email, as it will be deactivated upon graduation). You will receive proofs in the mail about two weeks after graduation. For any questions, you may call Flash Photography at (817) 924-2626.

Yes. Students should dress cool and within the NBISD dress code. Students should arrive for graduation in their gown and be ready to be checked by administration. Students should not bring anything to the ceremony other than their cap, gown, stoles, and cords if applicable.

No. Cell phones should be left with family members or be turned off during the ceremony.  Students will not be allowed to use cell phones during the ceremony.

No. We ask that our graduates not decorate their graduation caps

If students have completed all requirements for graduation, they will receive their diplomas that night; however, with Spring STAAR results not arriving until the next day, students with pending STAAR scores will need to wait until we have confirmation that they passed.  Hopefully, we will be able to distribute their diplomas on Friday, May 22.

No.  Noise makers distract from the ceremony.  We want to ensure all graduate names are heard throughout the stadium. Noise makers prevent this from happening.

Yes. Guests will be allowed to bring in one bottle of water.

Yes. Students will receive 12 tickets at graduation practice.

No, parking passes are not required.

Yes. Although there will not be a livestream, a recording of Two Rivers High School Graduation will be made available the following week.

Yes. There are designated areas to accommodate those in need of handicap parking.

Yes. If the back parking lot is full, and you need to park in the front, the front doors to NBHS will be open.
