A Collaborative Vision for NBISD
Together, New Braunfels ISD and its stakeholders, have developed a strategic plan to determine what strategies and actions to prioritize over the next five years as we continue to grow, innovate, and respond to the needs of our students. During the development process, we hosted focus groups, worked with a cross functional design team that included staff and community members from across the district, and launched a survey where all stakeholders had the opportunity to provide feedback.

Design Team
A Strategic Design Committee was established to oversee the development of the Strategic Plan. Responsibilities for this committee included the following:
Identify and prioritize the goals and major initiatives for the district to achieve from 2025 – 2030.
Ensure recommendations consider feasibility and align with the vision, mission, and core beliefs established and approved by the NBISD Board of Trustees.
Utilize data in making decisions, including extensive feedback collected by the community, parents, guardians, teachers, employees, and students.
Goals will be aligned to Theory of Action statements demonstrating the intent behind the selection of the goal.

Elevate needs to Project Team
Committee of district, school, student, family, and community representatives who design and refine major deliverables. Steering Team always includes Project Team members.
