The WURST game of the season is upon us. The annual Wurst Bowl is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5th at Unicorn Stadium for the annual game between the New Braunfels Unicorns and Canyon Cougars.

The Unicorns are coming off a 35-31 thrilling win over Madison while the Cougars defeated Austin High School as both teams enter the game with 1-0 records. The 2025 game will the 43rd all-time between the two teams. The Unicorns lead the series with 32 wins to 10 losses against their crosstown rival.

General admission tickets will be $4.00 for students and $8.00 for adults while reserved tickets are $9. Tickets for this event are digital only and cannot be printed.

A free shuttle service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Shuttles run before, during, and after the game and is suggested as on-campus parking will require a longer walk from the parking lot off of Ohio Avenue to the entrance near the north endzone. Comal ISD will be providing a shuttle for Cougar fans from Canyon High School. Parking and shuttle information as well as a map can be found here.
