New Braunfels High School is proud to highlight the New Braunfels ISD Seniors of the Month, Kaden Freiha and Maci Wiedenfeld!

Kaden Freiha, the son of Kristin and Gus Freiha, has attended NBHS all four years of high school. He is an active member of several student organizations, including Student Council, Blue Crew, Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), and the National Honor Society.

He also is a representative of New Braunfels Youth Leadership (2024-2025) and works part-time at Muck and Fuss as a bar back.

After graduation, Kaden plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin, where he hopes to pursue a career as a radiologist.

Maci Wiedenfeld, daughter of Erin and Kurt Wiedenfeld, is also in her fourth year at NBHS and has dedicated her time to a variety of school and community activities. She has been a member of HOSA since her freshman year and now serves as Secretary in her senior year.

Maci has also been active in Student Council, serving as Parliamentarian, and is a member of the National Honor Society. A former marching band member, she held leadership roles as Quartermaster and Librarian, and is also involved with Texas Future Music Educators and serves as a Unicorn Handler.

Maci has accumulated over 150 community service hours, volunteering with organizations such as Christus Santa Rosa Hospital and through school clubs and events.

After graduation, she plans to attend college—likely in Texas—and is considering UT Austin, with the goal of pursuing a degree in biology or radiology.
