The New Braunfels Unicorns opened the postseason in dominant fashion, defeating Leander Rouse in straight sets to capture the Bi-District Championship on October 30th at Dripping Springs High School.

The Unicorns took care of business with scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-14.

With the victory, New Braunfels improves to 42-5 overall and advances to the Area Round of the Class 5A playoffs, where they will face San Antonio Highlands on November 3rd at 7 p.m. at Alamo Heights High School.

The winner will move on to meet either Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial or McAllen for a spot in the regional tournament.
