It’s on to the area round for the New Braunfels Unicorn football team!

New Braunfels punched its ticket to the next round with an impressive 49–14 win over Laredo Nixon on Friday, November 14th, at Unicorn Stadium. The convincing win secured the bi-district championship and continued the Unicorns’ strong momentum.

With the win, the Unicorns (9–2) now turn their attention to McAllen Memorial, who also enters the matchup at 9–2 following a 35–21 bi-district win over Harlingen South. The two teams will meet at Buccaneer Stadium in Corpus Christi on Friday, November 21st, at 7 p.m.

The winner will advance to face the winner of the PSJA North vs. Boerne Champion area round game this week.
