New Braunfels High School’s own Kingsley Minus has been nominated for the San Antonio Express-News Athlete of the Week award! Be sure to vote HERE.

This recognition highlights Kingsley’s hard work, dedication, and standout performances throughout this season. She led the Unicorns in kills (16), digs (21) and assists (17) in a victory against Davenport last Tuesday. Minus is up against football players DK Garza of Alamo Heights and Mikey Canizales of Brackenridge.

The Unicorn volleyball team is on a roll this season with a 29-5 record and winners of all four of the district games they have played. They will look to keep the momentum going on Tuesday, September 16th, when the Unicorns play host to Veterans Memorial.

Minus will look to continue leading the way through the district season and playoffs. She is committed to play volleyball at Tarleton State next year.
