The Unicorn basketball team is headed to postseason play once again.

New Braunfels will travel to Dripping Springs to take on the Leander Glenn Grizzlies in the bi-district round of the playoffs. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24.

The Unicorns finished third in District 26 with an impressive 12-4 district record and capped off the regular season at 28-7 overall. New Braunfels enters the playoffs on a high note, winning its final three games of the season to build momentum heading into the postseason.

They will face a tough challenge in District 25 champion Leander Glenn. The Grizzlies posted a perfect 14-0 district record and are 26-9 overall. Glenn has been dominant down the stretch, winning 19 of its last 20 games.

The winner of Tuesday night’s matchup will advance to the area round of the playoffs and face the winner of the bi-district contest between Highlands Owls and South San Antonio Bobcats.
