The New Braunfels High School Volleyball team has officially clinched the District Championship. The Unicorns claimed the title following a win 3-0 win over Smithson Valley on Friday and added to the celebration after defeating a talented Boerne Champion squad 3–0 at home on Tuesday night.

NBHS is undefeated in district play with an impressive 15–0 record. Overall, the Unicorns have a record of 40–5 and are ranked among the top 10 Class 5A teams in the state across nearly every major poll.

During the Champion game, senior setter Valerie Wadas reached a major milestone, surpassing 1,000 career assists. The Unicorns will wrap up district play on Thursday, October 24th, on the road against Alamo Heights before heading into the playoffs.
