New Braunfels High School and Long Creek High School marched their way to success at the UIL Region 12 Marching Competition on the weekend of October 19th.

Held at San Antonio’s Heroes Stadium in North East ISD, both bands delivered impressive performances, which earned the Unicorns and the Dragons  “Superior” ratings from the judges.

With the “superior” ratings, both the Unicorn and Dragon bands will be advancing to the UIL Area Marching Contests.

Next up for the Unicorn Band will be the UIL 5A Area D Marching Contest, set to take place on October 26th at Pflugerville ISD’s Pfield Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Dragons will continue to compete at the UIL 4A Area E Marching Contest on November 2nd at Phil Danaher Stadium in Calallen ISD.
