This summer, NBISD music teachers Heidi Blancarte, Cassidy Elliott, and Beatrice Pelicano completed Level 3 Kodály training—two weeks of intensive study, folk song analysis, choral directing, and live teaching labs with 60 students!
We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Blancarte and Mrs. Elliott for earning full Kodály certification by submitting teaching videos and a collection of 250 analyzed folk songs
Blancarte teaches at Memorial Elementary, Elliott is a teacher at Voss Farms Elementary and Pelican works at Lamar Elementary.
