After competing in their first district championship, the Dragon Wrestling Team has advanced three wrestlers into the regional quarterfinals. All three of the regional qualifying wrestlers from Long Creek finished in the top three of their respective weight class.

The district championships were held January 31st and February 1st at the Alamo Convocation Center in San Antonio. Regionals are slated for February 7th and 8th at Corpus Christi ISD’s Mary Carroll Arena.

• 107 lbs: Laila Wetzel – 3rd Place
• 120 lbs: Leah De La Fuente – 3rd Place
