The New Braunfels High School Track team made waves at the Regional meet at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio on April 18th and 19th. Every single Unicorn who competed earned a Top 6 spot, securing All-Region honors, while two Unicorns clinched spots at the State meet in Austin on May 2nd and 3rd.

Cole Tavarez earned a second place finish in the long jump, punching his ticket to State by jumping 22-2.75. Meanwhile, Savanah Moya will return to the State after placing 3rd in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs—earning her a double qualification. Last year, Moya placed in the top 5 at State.

Cole and Savanah will represent New Braunfels at the State Meet at the University of Texas at Austin on May 2nd.
