NBISD Special Education Athletes competed in the South Regional Special Olympics Bowling event in Corpus Christi January 23rd to 25th. Among the highlights of the event was NBHS student Bradlee Looney, who was selected to say the athlete oath and also had the honor of singing the National Anthem.

Several NBISD athletes placed in the top five of their divisions, demonstrating their dedication and skill on the lanes. The results from the competition included:

Sebby Watson (NBHS) – 1st place

Makenzie Rouser (LCHS) – 1st place

Shaunesse Lee (LCHS) – 2nd place

Noah Rodriguez (ORMS) – 2nd place

Josey Smith (ORMS) – 3rd place

Gavin Hodapp (NBMS) – 4th place

Bradlee Looney (NBHS) – 4th place

Mackenzie “Mackie” Villanueva (ORMS) – 5th place
