Elementary students from across New Braunfels ISD gathered for the NB Reads Battle of the Books competition at New Braunfels High School on Wednesday, March 26th. After four rounds of book-based trivia, Seele Elementary ended the day as the champions, claiming the title of NB Reads Battle of the Books champions.
Each elementary school in NBISD fielded a team of five readers who competed in the trivia challenge. The competition tested students on their knowledge of books featured on the NB Reads Nominee List, requiring them to recall details, themes, and plot points from many books.
To earn a spot on their school’s team, competitors had to read more than 10 books from the nominee list. In the 2023-24 event, Voss Farms claimed the title.
