New Braunfels ISD welcomed its newest Unicorns and Dragons during the district’s Enrollment Fair, which was held Wednesday, April 9th, at Legend Point Elementary School. 

The event marked a special milestone, not only for families to enroll their pre-k and kindergarten students for the 2025–26 school year, but also as the first time Legend Point Elementary was officially open to the public!

Legend Point gave families a first glimpse of the state-of-the-art campus which is set to open in August. More than 180 pre-K and kindergarten students were enrolled during the event.

A highlight of the day was the special “signing event,” where incoming pre-K and kinder students were invited to officially “sign” with NBISD using an oversized pencil. The moment offered families a fun and memorable photo opportunity and the future students were able to grab a Unicorn and Dragon coloring book.

To help make the process as smooth as possible, NBISD staff were stationed throughout the school’s cafeteria to assist parents and guardians with registration, answer questions, and offer support. Meanwhile, children who attended enjoyed a designated play area, giving them a chance to meet other children as well as NBISD staff members.
