Students from both New Braunfels High School and Long Creek High School traveled to Corpus Christi this past week to participate in the Texas Thespians State Festival, one of the premier theater education events in the nation. Long Creek High School returned home with outstanding achievements, earning multiple top state awards and national-level qualifications.

Texas Thespians is the largest chapter of the Educational Theatre Association in the United States. As an educational honor society, it is dedicated to recognizing excellence in theater and supporting the growth of theatre students and their educators across the State of Texas.

Long Creek High School is proud to celebrate the following student accomplishments:

• Camryn Spencer — National Qualifier in Solo Musical Theatre

• A.J. “Amias” Lozano-Harmon — National Qualifier in Playwriting

• Alex Miller — All Star Improviser for the State of Texas
