NBISD nurses, active and retired, volunteered their time and expertise on Thursday to support the Kerrville community.

After a request from the Comal County Health Department, our dedicated nurses arrived at the command center by 5 a.m. to administer Tetanus and Hepatitis A vaccines to first responders.

Among those lending their time and expertise were current NBISD Director of Health Services Mary Coronado, New Braunfels High School Nurse Sue Ann Evans and former NBISD Director of Health Services Karen Schwind.
