New Braunfels ISD proudly celebrated the graduation of participants from its Aspiring Assistant Principals Leadership Academy on Wednesday, April 15th. Hosted by NBISD School Leadership, this seven-week program is designed to grow and empower the next generation of educational leaders across NBISD.

This program includes a book study, mock interviews and more in depth scenarios regarding being a principal or assistant principal. The academy prepares professional educators to take on the role of an assistant principal, and also helps them grow in the areas of campus culture, personnel and the NBISD Strategic Plan. The group met once a month for seven, half-day sessions during the school day as a cohort.

Graduates were honored in a special ceremony that included a certificate from NBISD Superintendent Dr. Laurelyn Arterbury and Chief of School Wade Ivy, along with an audience of peers and district leadership.
