New Braunfels ISD is thrilled to recognize this year’s Campus Teachers of the Year! These dedicated educators go above and beyond every day, and have made a lasting impact on their students and school communities as they were nominated by their peers and the community.
Now, they’ll move forward in the selection process for the District Teacher of the Year Award, with that winner advancing to the regional competition—and potentially earning the prestigious title of Texas Teacher of the Year! The Texas Teacher of the Year winner then advances to the National competition.

The Teacher of the Year guidelines include:
Demonstrating exceptional leadership in their schools and beyond
Engaging with their communities to support student success
Inspiring a love of learning for students of all backgrounds and abilities
Being dedicated and innovative in their approach to education
The NBISD Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year will be announced at the Excellence Awards on Tuesday, April 29.
