New Braunfels ISD is proud to announce that the Ambassador Program held its first meeting of the year on Thursday, August 28.

The NBISD Ambassador Program, originally launched in 2018, was created to strengthen the connection between the district and the community. While the program was placed on pause during Covid, it successfully reconvened last school year and continues to grow in its impact.

The program provides participants with an in-depth understanding of the district’s day-to-day operations, including leadership, communications, strategic direction, educational programs, student services, technology, human resources, facilities, operations, and school finance. By experiencing these areas firsthand, ambassadors gain valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities that shape public education in New Braunfels.

Designed to prepare community members to serve as district advocates, the Ambassador Program equips participants to help educate others about the unique needs of NBISD. Through their involvement, ambassadors play a vital role in building stronger connections between schools and the broader community.
