The New Braunfels High School Unicorn Cross Country teams boys and girls squads have earned spots in the Regional Meet in Corpus Christi.

The regional meet will be held on Oct. 21 at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Dugan Track Stadium, where runners will have the opportunity to qualify for the state meet.

To reach regionals, both teams competed at the Class 5A District 26 meet in Kerrville on Wednesday, October 9. Both teams delivered strong performances, securing 3rd place finishes in both the boys and girls divisions.

As for individuals, several Unicorn athletes placed in the top 10 including Savanah Moya with a second-place finish and Ava Briley earning seventh on the girls side. Carson Pair claimed third overall in the boys race.
