New Braunfels High School art students are serving up creativity with a unique community art show hosted by New York Pizza Pub, located at 2345 Loop 337.

Each participating student was challenged to transform an ordinary pizza box into an original work of art to showcase their imagination, design, and craftsmanship. The resulting collection of “pizza box masterpieces” will be displayed throughout the restaurant for two weeks, beginning Thursday, November 6th.

An opening reception was held on November 6th, where families, friends, and community members were invited to enjoy some pizza while viewing the student artwork.

Guests will also have the opportunity to cast their votes for “Best in Show” during the two-week exhibition. The winning artist will receive a special prize that will be donated by New York Pizza Pub.

“We’re thrilled to partner with a local business to give our students this real-world opportunity to showcase their creativity,” said Thom Rogers, Art Teacher at New Braunfels High School. “It’s a fun and meaningful way to celebrate young artists and connect with our community.”

The community is encouraged to stop by New York Pizza Pub to view the student creations, support local talent, and enjoy the great art along with their favorite pizza.

The show runs through November 20th.
