A New Braunfels High School student is headed to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando! William Tobias clinched first place in the business finance services series event at the state DECA competition in Dallas that was held March 6th to 9th.

More than 7,500 DECA members gathered in Dallas for the highly competitive State Career Development Conference. Among them were 14 State qualifiers from NBHS.

Tobias clinching a first-place finish and spot in the international competition in the Business Finance Services Series Event is quite a feat as he competed against more than 120 participants at the state level.

Additionally, Stella Hales had an impressive showing in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Series Event, earning second place out of 120 competitors. As a State Alternate, she showcased exceptional skills in her event.
