The NBHS Bar-B-Que Cookoff team showcased their grilling skills at the San Antonio Junior Pitmaster Challenge, earning an impressive 3rd place overall! This competitive culinary event was part of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Bar-B-Que Cook-Off.

This event was held January 24th and 25th in San Antonio

This competition was part of the kickoff of the San Antonio Rodeo season. NBHS students Blake Doege, Trevor Rogers, and Carter Ragsdale led the team with standout performances in multiple categories:

• 1st Place Ribs 
• 5th Place Chicken 
• 10th Place Brisket 

Their hard work, skill, and dedication earned them a well-deserved spot on the podium.
