New Braunfels High School FFA students have been making their mark on the livestock show circuit, earning several awards from around the state and beyond.
At the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo, Luke Golla had the Top Animal Score in Commercial Steers, while Lexi Golla claimed the Reserve Grand Champion title in Commercial Steers.
Fellow FFA student Gertie Dudley also had success in San Antonio, winning Champion Hereford Gilt.
Helen Dudley earned multiple titles, including Reserve Champion Duroc at the Grandstand Livestock Show, Champion Senior Showman at the National Western Livestock Show in Denver, and Champion Duroc Barrow at the San Angelo Jr. Livestock Show.
Helen also stood out at the San Antonio Jr. Livestock Show & Rodeo, winning CTBR Class Champion and Reserve Champion Light Division Duroc Barrow.
FFA students also showcased their skills in agricultural mechanics as Trevor Rogers brought home the Champion Field Machinery & Equipment Division Project title at the San Antonio Jr. Livestock Show.
