The New Braunfels High School Automotive Technology program is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with San Marcos Toyota!

Under the leadership of NBHS Auto Tech instructor Allen Dunne and San Marcos Toyota Service Director Sean Moore, this initiative provides students with paid, hands-on training while they complete their high school education, offering a head start in a competitive field.

The program employs students from not only NBHS, but also San Marcos High School, and Lehman High School in the dealership’s Express Service bays. After attending automotive classes during school hours, participants work at the dealership in the afternoons and on weekends, gaining experience and earning an hourly wage.

Upon graduation, students have the opportunity to join the Toyota Technical Education Network program at Austin Community College. This 18-month program alternates between classroom instruction and hands-on training at the dealership every two months, culminating in an associate degree and a Toyota certification—preparing them for a successful career in the automotive industry.
