The dance teams from New Braunfels High School and Long Creek High School shined on Saturday as they competed in the Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA) Dance/Drill Team Assessment at Pieper High School.

Performing their halftime routines before a panel of judges, both teams earned a coveted Division 1 rating. Both earned recognition for their outstanding performances.

This marks the second year for the NBHS dance team to participate in the TDEA assessment and the first year for the Long Creek HS team to take the floor at the event.

Both teams represented NBISD with pride, and showcased technique and teamwork in the TDEA evaluation.
