Fynn Minus and Scout House are headed to the Class 5A state swimming and diving meet. Minus and House headed standout performances securing their spots at state. 

Minus, a junior, and House, a freshman, will represent NBHS on the state’s biggest stage after impressive showings. The state meet is held February 21st and 22nd in Austin.

Minus qualified in both the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard breaststroke, while House earned her spot in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle.

The entire Unicorn squad swam well at regionals, according to their coach Mauricio Craig. Many swimmers advanced to the regional finals but came up just shy of state. The boys’ team finished 6th out of 21 teams and the girls’ team placed 11th at regionals.
