Big smiles and big ideas are headed to Lone Star Early Childhood Center students! Thanks to a $2,500 grant from the Horace Mann Educators Foundation, presented by Randy Moczygemba, NBISD Pre-K learners now can explore, create, and collaborate through LEGO® Education tools.
“These LEGO® Education tools are more than just bricks. They help our children imagine, create, and work together,” said Robert Strever, Principal of Lone Star Early Childhood Center.

The Horace Mann Educators Foundation, established by Horace Mann Educators Corporation, is dedicated to recognizing and supporting the work of educators. Moczygemba nominated Lone Star Early Childhood Center for the grant last Fall and was on campus for a check presentation on September 30th.
Strever added, “Thanks to Horace Mann, our Pre-K students will explore coding, storytelling, and real-world building through LEGO® Education. These playful experiences bring learning to life!”
