Long Creek High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) students competed at the Regional Leadership Conference last weekend and earned their place at the State Leadership Conference in Dallas this March.

Through dedication, preparation, and professionalism, these students demonstrated outstanding leadership and career-ready skills, with many earning top finishes in highly competitive events.

Several LCHS students advanced to state after earning first- and second-place finishes at the regional level.

State qualifiers include Dylan Brinkkoeter (Entrepreneurship – 1st Place), Raelyn Gonzales (Prepared Speech – 1st Place), Grace Garza (Intermediate Word Processing – 1st Place), Sarah Horn (Advanced Interview Skills – 1st Place), Brady Bright (Ethics & Professionalism – 1st Place), Camden Hernandez (Payroll Accounting – 1st Place), and Sebastian Vargas (Interview Skills – 2nd Place). Additionally, state qualifier alternates include Chance Stephens (Extemporaneous Speech – 3rd Place), Sawyer Berger (Human Resource Management – 3rd Place), Sarah Horn and Grace Garza (Visual Design Team – 3rd Place), Dylan Brinkkoeter, Nevis Escobedo, and Sawyer Berger (Global Marketing Team – 3rd Place), and Johnny Perez (Health Research Presentation – 4th Place).

LCHS BPA students also competed in open competitive events, earning notable placements. Nevis Escobedo participated in Digital Marketing Concepts, while Angel Perez competed in Project Management Concepts, Digital Marketing Concepts, and Health Administration Concepts. Johnny Perez also competed in Health Administration Concepts. These results reflect the depth of talent and commitment within the LCHS BPA program.
