The 47th annual Fraulein Volleyfest, considered by many to be the premier kick-off event for the High School Volleyball season in Central Texas will get started on Aug. 22nd. The tournament will be played at New Braunfels High School (NBISD), Comal High School (CISD), Oak Run Middle School (NBISD), Canyon Middle School (CISD) and Church Hill Middle School (CISD) between Thursday and Saturday.

This year, 32 teams from as far away as West Texas, Corpus Christi and the Dallas, Houston and Austin areas will participate in this prestigious event. 

Parking at NBHS will be limited and shuttles will be available from Oakwood Baptist Church on Thursday and Friday only. The Lady Unicorns will start things off in pool play with a 9 a.m. match against Arlington High School  on Thursday, Aug. 22. That game will be followed with NBHS facing Gregory-Portland High School at 11 a.m. and Georgetown High School at 2 p.m. All three of Thursday’s games will be played in NBHS Gym.
