Members of the New Braunfels High School Mighty Unicorn Band participated in the TMEA Region 12 Jazz Band Auditions recently. Five members of the band were recognized as all-region jazz band performers.

The following musicians earned spots in the all-region jazz band:
Jazz Guitar – Logan Bachman, 1st Chair
Baritone Saxophone – Connor Nolte, 1st Chair
Tenor Saxophone – Rorey Henderson, 2nd Chair
Alto Saxophone – Juan Lopez, 2nd Chair
Trumpet – Elijah Bella-Perez, 2nd Chair

These students have now qualified to audition pieces for the All-State Jazz Band. The announcement for those that were selected for the All-State Jazz Band will be made some time in mid-November.
