The originally scheduled Long Creek High School varsity football game on October 3, against Liberty Hill Legacy Ranch has been canceled.

As a result, the Dragons varsity team will now have their bye week this week. To adjust for this change, the previously scheduled bye week has been filled with a road game against the Boerne Champion JV squad, and that game will be scheduled for October 17.

The Long Creek sub-varsity Dragons will still face off against Legacy Ranch on October 3, as originally planned.

While the Dragons were scheduled to play Legacy Ranch twice this season, only the October 3 matchup in Liberty Hill has been canceled. The October 24, game at Unicorn Stadium will proceed as scheduled.

Long Creek defeated Katy Freeman at home by a score of 48-14 on Friday, Sept. 27.
