The Long Creek volleyball team is gearing up for its second season of play, which will include a district schedule and the possibility of playoffs for the first time.

The Dragons will begin play this season in Class 4A District 26. The six-team district includes the likes of Bandera, Canyon Lake, Davenport, Fredericksburg and Wimberley. Last season, Wimberley won the district before winning the Class 4A Region 2 State Championship.

The Dragons will start the 2025 campaign against San Antonio Fox Tech at home. Long Creek will play in three tournaments this season at Wimberley, Pieper and Kerrville Tivy. Other notable matches include a home game against San Antonio Reagan and at Marion.

District play will get underway on September 23rd when the Dragons visit State Champion Wimberley. The district home opener will be played on September 30th against Davenport. The season finale will be a game played at Bandera on October 24th.
