County Line Elementary has been recognized as one of 130 The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Student Leadership Award. This esteemed recognition celebrates exceptional PK-8 student leadership groups that have shown remarkable dedication to their school communities through leadership and service. This year, we’re proud to recognize a record number of student teams who have positively impacted their communities. These student leadership teams have engaged in various initiatives, including:
- Leading food drives
- Visiting the elderly
- Honoring veterans
- Organizing toy drives
- Promoting teacher appreciation
- Undertaking school improvement projects
“Student-led initiatives not only enhance the educational experience but are crucial for fostering civic engagement among students,” TEPSA Executive Director Harley Eckhart said. “We are proud to recognize these dynamic groups of young leaders who actively participate in their communities and make a positive difference throughout Texas.”

Award recipients will be recognized during TEPSA’s Student Leadership Workshops in the fall.
Serving Texas PK-8 school leaders since 1917, TEPSA has 6,000+ members who direct the activities of more than 3 million PK-8 school children. TEPSA has trained more than 40,000 Texas students through their Student Leadership Workshops since 1999. During the 2024 fall workshops held throughout the State, 644 adults and 2,623 students learned leadership skills to guide their teams effectively.
