The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) has announced the recipients of its 2025-2026 Student Leadership Awards, recognizing outstanding PK-8 student leadership teams from across Texas for their commitment to service, leadership and community impact.

Among the campuses honored this year was County Line Elementary, whose student leadership team was recognized for making a positive impact on its school community through service and leadership initiatives.

The prestigious award honors student groups that have gone above and beyond to make a difference within their schools and communities through meaningful leadership initiatives and service projects.

Throughout the year, these student leaders participated in a variety of impactful activities, including promoting literacy through engaging reading programs, organizing kindness campaigns, honoring teachers, staff members and veterans, mentoring younger students, building school spirit projects and supporting local families and community organizations.

“Texas public schools play a crucial role in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. These students are not only active participants but also trailblazers for positive change in their schools and communities,” TEPSA Executive Director Harley Eckhart said. “We take pride in acknowledging their efforts to build a brighter future for communities throughout our state.”

The accomplishments of the award recipients will be celebrated during TEPSA’s Student Leadership Workshops taking place this fall.

Founded in 1917, Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association serves more than 6,000 PK-8 school leaders across the state, supporting educators who impact more than 3 million Texas students. Since launching its Student Leadership Workshops in 1999, TEPSA has trained more than 40,000 student leaders statewide.

During the 2025 workshops alone, 2,311 students and 500 adults participated in leadership development experiences designed to help students create community-focused projects and strengthen leadership skills on their campuses.
