Long Creek High School officially marked the completion of Phase 2 of its campus construction project this week, highlighted by student move-in activities on Monday, May 11th, and a special facilities tour for the New Braunfels ISD Board of Trustees and district leadership on Friday, May 15th.

The Phase 2 addition includes new Athletics and Fine Arts spaces designed to support the continued growth of the campus and provide students with enhanced opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. The new areas feature modern facilities aimed at supporting student achievement, creativity, collaboration, and performance. Some of the highlights are the new Dragon football stadium, a performing arts center, weight room, choir room, a second gym and dance and cheer studio.

Students assisted with moving into the new spaces earlier in the week, helping bring the campus additions to life ahead of future athletic practices, performances, rehearsals, and student activities.

“This project is a direct result of the incredible support from our Board of Trustees and our community through support of our bond programs,” said NBISD Superintendent Dr. Laurelyn Arterbury. “Because of that support, we are able to continue investing in our students and staff by providing exceptional learning environments that will serve Long Creek students for years to come.”

The completion of Phase 2 represents another milestone in the continued growth of New Braunfels Independent School District and its commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences and facilities for all students.
