NBISD is excited to announce that the NBISD Board of Trustees approved a one-time retention stipend for all eligible* staff at tonight’s regular Board meeting. Full-time employees will receive $1000 and part-time employees will receive $500. Payments will be made to eligible* employees by the end of September.

* In order to be eligible for the retention payment, an employee must be employed full-time or part-time with NBISD in a Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) covered position; be employed with NBISD during the period of May 24, 2024, through September 15, 2024 with no pending or future separation notice having been filed and remain employed, not on administrative leave with or without pay, for the time period of May 24, 2024 through September 15, 2024.
