Get ready for a Dairy Queen blizzard showdown as New Braunfels High School, Long Creek High School and Canyon High School coaches face off in the Battle of the Blizzards!

This event is held to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network. In addition to the Battle of the Blizzards, it is also Miracle Treat Day at participating locations. For each Blizzard treat purchased all day at any New Braunfels DQ locations on Thursday, July 25, the restaurant will be donating $1 or more of each purchase to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.  That same day, The Battle of the Blizzards will be held at the Landa Dairy Queen location, 370 Landa St., with each team given a one-hour time slot.

Coaches from the three schools will compete for bragging rights by selling the most Blizzard treats during their designated time slots. The schedule for the event is as follows:

  • Canyon High School: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
  • New Braunfels High School: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
  • Long Creek High School: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Each team will be preparing and serving blizzards with proceeds going to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.
