New Students
NEW STUDENTS:
Pre-K – 12th Grade
Parents of NEW students will be required to complete the following steps to register for the 2026-27 school year through ASCENDER Parent Portal. You can do this from any device with internet access.
To Register:
Step 1
Verify that you have the following documents prior to enrolling:
Parent Identification
Government-issued Birth Certificate of Child (Kindergarteners must be age 5 as of September 1, 2026)
Child’s Social Security Card, if available
Immunization Record (must be up-to-date)
Proof of Residency (current water, gas, electric bill, or lease agreement)
Step 3
Once you’ve completed step 2, contact your campus directly to schedule an appointment to complete the registration process.
If your family is residing with another NBISD resident, a Residency Form will need to be completed. The Residency Forms are available in our Student Services department.

Returning Students
Two-Way Dual Language (DL) Program
