NBISD art students are back again for
year TWO of the Bring In Spring initiative!

Each year in March, the Texas Arts Educators Association (TAEA) has “Big Art Day” across the State of Texas. Schools are encouraged to think about fun projects that they can do to feature artwork on their campuses. 

We are looking for interested local businesses that would like to display butterflies provided by our NBISD students to bring in the Spring. We are looking to have the butterfly pieces displayed between March 1st – 14th, 2025. The official “Big Art Day” is on March 6th. We plan to offer each participating business 25 butterflies to display around their location.

There are only 50 spots available, so make sure to claim your butterflies quickly!

HOW IT WORKS

Step 1

Businesses that are interested in collaborating on this free program can fill out this form. (Limited to 50 spots)

Step 2

Digitally provide the district with your logo so we can display it on a webpage of participating local businesses.

Step 3

We will notify you when your butterflies are ready to be picked up from the NBISD Administration Center.

Step 4

Display the butterflies throughout your location however you’d like! Participants will keep the butterflies once complete.

Step 5

As a district, we plan to come by businesses that agree to display artwork to take photos and promote through our social media platforms. We will also let students and their parents know where their butterflies are to encourage them to stop by your business to check them out! There is no monetary requirement to participate in this project – just willingness to display student art!
